Many of you may not think that after a career of almost 30 years as a DJ, we still get anxious before playing - regardless of the size of the event.
But the reality is that we are always nervous. Whether it is out of respect for our art, the music or having to reciprocate the expectations that are generated by the public. When you do well, this expectation increases for the next performance and so on.
At Brotas Sunset it was no different: it had been 9 long months since I had performed live since I decided to better filter the parties I was hired for. In addition, I had a health problem the day before the event - which I hid from everyone until the day of the party - but which almost compromised my performance. But I still gave it my all, traveled for almost 1 day with my wife Elisandra, got there and did what I have been doing for 27 years: a set mixing classics and new releases from Progressive House.
The set was well praised by those who were there and I personally also enjoyed it a lot, despite these difficulties. Share your opinions directly on the platforms and with your friends if you like it!
