Am I wrong for being concerned about the gift my daughter's babysitter gave my husband?
I (25F) live in Texas with my husband, Evan (26M), and our 6-month-old baby girl, Rosie. Evan works full-time in IT, and I work part-time at a local boutique.
Three months ago, we hired a babysitter named Claire (29F). Evan actually found her in a Facebook babysitter group before Rosie was born. She seemed perfect on paper—married, already a mom to a little boy, and pregnant with her second kid. Plus, her rates were reasonable, and she had glowing reviews.
At first, she really was a saint. She sent me pictures of Rosie napping, playing on her mat, and eating her mashed bananas. It made me feel secure.
Every morning, I'd pack Rosie's bag with formula, wipes, and extra outfits.
But on Tuesday, when I unpacked at home, I noticed something inside that didn't look familiar—a small packet. At first, I figured Claire had left something from her errands in there by mistake.
I looked closer and my heart dropped. There was a note: "For Evan." Then I looked inside. Suddenly, I realized that Evan and Claire were FOOLING me. ⬇️
