MEET THE STAKEHOLDERS TOUR

In furtherance of his meet the stakeholders tour, the leading Aspirant for the Chairmanship of Lafia Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna, today met with the former Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Sen. Umaru Tanko Almakura (Sardaunan Gwandara) worldwide.

The essence of the visit was to consult the Senator as one of the critical stakeholders in Lafia and Nasarawa State at large, on his Aspiration for the Championship of Lafia Local Government Area in the forthcoming Local Government Election in Nasarawa State.

He was being accompanied on the visit by the Chairman of his campaign council, Engr. Muhammed Sidi Sani.

HON. BARR. MOHAMMED HARUNA MEETS WITH SUPPORTERS AND MEDIA TEAM

In the wake of political activities towards the 2024 Local Government Council Election in Nasarawa State, the leading Aspirant for the Chairmanship of Lafia Local Government Area, Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna has met with some of his selected supporters and media team.

The meeting which was held yesterday in his campaign office in Maikudi Plaza, along Jos Road, Lafia was to intimate them on the recent release of time table for the election by the State Election Management Body (NASIEC) in order to restrategize the modalities on how to approach the election.

The meeting had in attendance, Chairman of the Campaign Council; Engr. Mohammed Sidi Sani, Director General of the Campaign Council and other prominent people from across the thirteen (13) wards that made up Lafia.

MESSAGE OF INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY

I, Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna, the Overseer, Lafia East Development Area, and Chairman, Forum of Overseers of Development Areas in Nasarawa State, wish to heartily rejoice and felicitate with His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria, and His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, on the occasion of 64th Anniversary of Nigeria's Independence and 28th years of the creation of Nasarawa State.

No doubt that Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has witnessed tremendous reforms and policy formulations that are masses friendly which positive impacts are being felt in virtually all the nooks and crannies of this country. While in Nasarawa State, we are lucky to have a Governor who have transformed vision into reality for providing the necessary infrastructures for agricultural transformation, qualitative healthcare delivery, education, and provide employment opportunities for our teeming youth.

The joy of a nationhood is immeasurable and whatever our challenges as a nation, we deserves to celebrate today.

While we celebrate the day, let continue to fervently pray for our leaders to succeed and for our country to be peaceful and more prosperous.

BARR. MOHAMMED HARUNA CONDOLES WITH A FAMILY IN ASHIGE

The overseer, Lafia East Development Area, and Chairman, Forum of Overseers of Development Areas in Nasarawa State, Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna has condoled with the family of a deceased Fulani man who was allegedly killed by one Koro farmer who is at large.

The barbaric incidence happened on the fateful day of Tuesday, the 27th day of August, 2024 in Ashige, a town in Lafia East Development Area.

The visit was held in Rugan Alhaji Isa Fulani where the seventh day prayers for the repose of the soul of the deceased was performed.

MEET THE STAKEHOLDERS TOUR

In continuation of a strong push on his aspiration for a better and greater Lafia for all, Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna, the Overseer of Lafia East Development Area and Chairman, Forum of Overseers of Development Areas in Nasarawa State, has met with Hon. Barr. Imam Abubakar Zanwa, Honourable Commissioner of Trade, Industry and Investment in his office in Lafia.

The visit which is one amongst series was aimed to seek for the advice, guide and support of the Honourable Commissioner on the journey ahead.

Barr. Imam Zanwa is a critical stakeholder not only in Lafia politics but also beyond.

He was accompanied on the visit by Hon. Engr. Mohammed Sidi Sani, Ag. HOD Welding and Fabrication, Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic Lafia.

Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna Holds Iftar Dinner with Friends and Political Associates

In the spirit of Ramadan and sense of compassion, Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna, the Overseer of Lafia East Development Area and Chairman of Forum of Overseers of Development Areas in Nasarawa State, have organized Iftar Dinner for his friends and political Associates.

The event which was held at his Bukan Ari residence had in attendance people from different walks of life.

He uses the moment of the event and announced a gift of bags of rice and cows to enable people celebrate Sallah with smile.

Prayers were offered for the success of Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule's led administration and for peace to thrive in the state.

HON. HARUNA SEEKS SUPPORT OF APC WARDS CHAIRMEN AHEAD OF PARTY PRIMARIES

Ahead of party primaries, the Overseer of Lafia East Development Area who double as Chairman, Forum of Overseers of Development Areas in Nasarawa State, Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna has met with wards chairmen of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) to woo their support for his candidacy as the next Executive Chairman of Lafia Local Government Area in this year's council election in the state.

The meeting which took place yesterday in Lafia had in attendance all the wards chairmen. They however assured him of their unalloyed support during the primaries scheduled for February.

Hon. Haruna is not leaving any stone unturned as he intensified efforts at canvassing support of all stakeholders concerned.

Lafia shall be better and greater again !

Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna, the Overseer of Lafia East Development Area has graced the Birthday Ceremony of Hon. Aliyu Bello, the Nasarawa State APC Chairman, in Lafia.

Hon. Mohammed who took his time and eulogized the virtues of the man, Aliyu Bello has showered rain of encomium on his personality.

He then pray God to grant him good health and long life.

"Happy Birthday Sardaunan Adogi," he concluded.

CONDOLENCE MESSAGE

The Chairman, Forum of Overseers of Development Areas in Nasarawa State and who is also the Overseer of Lafia East Development Area, Hon. Barr. Mohammed Haruna, wishes to extend his heartfelt condolences to Alh. Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya, the erstwhile NNPP Gubernatorial Candidate in Nasarawa State, over the loss of his beloved wife, Hajiya Saida Saidu Galadima.

The deceased died after a brief illness and has since been buried according to Islamic injunctions in Lafia.

He also prayed for the repose of her gentle soul and the souls of other departed ummah.
