Day five | I love home made Christmas crackers! I’ve been making them with my kids for a few years now. A couple of cardboard loo rolls inside stuffed with a joke, a chocolate and a pair of socks or something. I styled this summery Christmas shoot for a while back- I love the icy blues and the sage stripes together. The gorgeous shot this! 🎄🏄🏼‍♂️

Ps I call them Christmas crackers but a lot of Australians I’ve met lately call them Bon Bons! What do you call them?

Day four | this is a simple way to create a ‘tree’ in a small home that might not have space for a physical Christmas tree! Layering up vintage paper on the wall and topping it with a sparkly star. Shot in a beautiful home in Bath for with . I remember walking around Bath in the evenings and thinking how incredibly beautiful the city is! Really love it there. ❤️🎄

Day three | this was a fabulous shoot for . The idea was a non-traditional Christmas shoot with a rich blue theme, beautiful layering and lovely foliage across the images. The amazing captured these shots.

We shot this at one of my favourite locations of all time- in Cheam on the edge of Nonsuch Park. It’s sadly not a location anymore. Quite a few ghost stories from the Old Rectory! There are apparently seven separate ghosts that live there. We definitely heard and felt something when we were there- more than once!

Day two of sharing Xmas images from times gone by 🎄

That time that I was asked to style ’s home for a Christmas collaboration! Sophie was wonderful. She was fun and totally down to earth. A mum to five kids and a total rockstar- I mean, next level! ⭐️⭐️

Kristina and I had a rare kid-free day last weekend so we bought tickets to the event that was organised by - it was such a great day out! (It’s run very similarly to the London Open House festival)

We visited the National Art School in an old Sydney gaol - the most fantastic use of space now- incredible place to visit!

Then to with its fabulous carpets and leather upholstery. Then to Government house in the Botanic Gardens- their bright yellow banquette sofas were unexpectedly bright in an otherwise muted castle. We also went to the Mint and the Barracks which I haven’t been to since my primary school visit many years ago! The convict hammocks have been etched in my memory for decades.

We also went to the incredible rooftop of a building in Martin Place and over to the commonwealth bank building - which was like something out of Harry Potter. We decided to visit mostly historic places this year. Next year we’ll do the modern architecture spaces!

All in all a fabulous day out x

So excited for my series of ‘Q&A-masterclass- book signing-champagne’ events in Sydney!

First one is this week on Thursday morning in the Belrose store. Bring.it.on ⭐️

Belrose - November 6th
Moore Park - November 13th
Artarmon - November 20th.

Tickets are via eventbrite but amazingly all three events have sold out even before I’ve had a chance to talk about it on here!

There is a waiting list that you can jump onto via the website and search for Provincial Home Living.

Some colour in your feed today! 💙💙 I styled a shoot for in the UK in June and one of the many sofas was this amazing Jasper sofa in blue velvet. Whadda colour! I decided to pair it with a blue wall and colour drench the room. The room could take it because the ceilings were high and the space was fabulous. Take me back!
