Hosted by INFORMARE. to celebrate the new SoHo Design District for London Design Festival we will be having a lovely relaxed 1.5 hour event where we have a Q&A about all things interiors, styling and the home, have a glass of bubbles, and then I’ll be signing copies of my Home Style Handbook (you could bring your own or I’ll have some to buy on the night).

We chose the papers we’d genuinely use ourselves: prints with personality, colour, texture and just enough impact to completely change the feeling of a room.

There are bold patterns, softer designs and plenty of beautiful options for anyone who wants to introduce wallpaper without feeling overwhelmed by choice.

Every wall in our home that I have had the energy to paint is my hands-down favourite neutral Cotswolds Green by Annie Sloan very pale greeny-grey.

So perfect with our vintage Heal's armchair that we’ve had for over 20 years. Gets better with age.

Multiple cups of tea (Yorkshire gold or M&S luxury teabags!) in my fave mug from Streatham Cornucopia by Cornishware

In my continued bid to use less plastic I found a vintage French wall soap holder on marketplace. I’m going to clean it up and bring it back to life. Looks slightly outrageous but so useful and no plastic bottles! (Although that refill is in a plastic wrapper….) no bloody hope!

This is what 6-months in the life of a stylist can look like. How are we in July already? My role is a stylist, creative director, brand ambassador, content creator, author, Founder of the Interior Styling School, now I’ve created Styling Tours with jono fleming - and so many things in between. I’ve never been one to put all my eggs in one basket- I don’t think creatives can necessarily. I love my life and all the wonderful chaos that comes with it.
