Jeepers Creepers!

Every 23rd spring for 23 days, evil returns to eat...And also discuss Jeepers Creepers.
After making a horrific discovery in the basement of an old abandoned church, Trish (Gina Philips) and her brother Darry (Justin Long) watch their routine road trip home from college turn into a heart-stopping race for their lives. They find themselves the chosen prey of an indestructible force that relentlessly pursues them and gives a new and chilling meaning to the old song "Jeepers Creepers." What does evolution have to do with anything? Did Beth just unlock a Breathe of the Wild-style memory in Britta? Are all Justins undercover DBags? Find out in this week's episode

New Sunday, new episode!

Listen to Creature Features:

Spring has sprung, and people (and the Critters) are getting squirrelly. What better way to get into the spirit than to watch some creature features? What films do the Librarians define as creature features? Dive in (literally) with classic monsters, creepy crawlers, and way too many movies that are set in fresh water for Beth's comfort. Do throuples exist in Atlantis? Is the first rule of Lake Eerie Library Fight Club "Don't tell Beth about tiny tubs of Vaseline"? What is that weird notification noise that we didn't edit out? Just HOW MANY creature movies feature Samuel L. Jackson? Find out now!

RIP Roger Corman

New true crime episode:
The Pike County Massacre

The Librarians are here to share the details of their most contemporary true crime topic yet.
April 2016- 8 members of the Rhoden family were found brutally murdered in Pike County, Ohio homes. The circumstances of their deaths led FBI and BCI investigators to one of Ohio's longest-running murder investigations to date. Who committed this heinous crime? Was it related to the seizure of thousands of cannabis plants in the area? Could the killer also be involved in a Kentucky murder? Or is there a much more sinister and personal explanation?
As of this episode's airing, a court trial is still forthcoming.

New Episode Alert!
The Minisode - The Loveland Frog!

Welcome to the first Lake Eerie Library Minisode dedicated to one of Ohio's most endearing cryptids- the Loveland Frog. Is that froggy fella a time traveler? A witch? An alien? Or an escaped pet iguana? What's their glute workout routine? The Librarians are asking the hard-hitting questions you're all dying to have answered and petitioning for a guest spot at next year's Loveland Frog Festival.

The Irishman, Part I! It’s Sunday, so that means a new episode!

Welcome back listeners! The Librarians figured out their St. Paddy's shenanigan schedule and got to together to tell you all about the epic tale of Danny Greene, Cleveland infamous Irish gangster. Learn about Danny's early days, interior design choices, and what exactly racketeering means. Plus hear entirely too much about a tv series that ended almost twenty years ago, why you should only trust professionals to set your car explosives, and the secret to why Millennials ACTUALLY love "Avocado Toast"

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

There’s no new podcast episode today - the Librarians had to take a brief hiatus after being cursed by the Leprechaun! 🍀 (This was probably Beth’s fault after talking smack about the feature films 😂). But, please take the opportunity to catch up on previous episodes!

The Lake Eerie Library will return next week to discuss true crime, and then in the near future, don’t forget about the Eerie Bookclub, where we will discuss Kealan Patrick Burke’s book, Kin!
We hope you have a safe St. Patrick’s Day, whether you’re out and about celebrating, or staying in and watching all the Leprechaun movies!

Greetings from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base!

Get out your black suits, dust off your X-Files, and make room for space pancakes because this week’s episode is chock full of aliens, ghosts, haunted planes, conspiracy theories, military and aviation history, and more! The Librarians are here to tell you all about Ohio’s Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the home of Project Blue Book and the infamous (and most likely not real) Hangar 18 that’s full of UFO wreckage and E.B.Es from the Roswell crash and one really angry guy that just wishes people would stop asking about aliens.
