Living with chronic pain often means hitting the pause button on the parts of life that once brought joy. You might stop going for walks with friends, skip out on weekend hobbies, or simply avoid plans because of that ache you live with. But it doesn’t have to stay that way. With comprehensive pain management services, people are quietly reclaiming their days—and sometimes, their whole lives....

In childhood, friendship often came easily. You bonded with someone over a shared love of the same cartoon, sat next to them in school, or played together on the playground and—voilà!—you were best friends. In young adulthood, you may have formed connections through roommates, college classes, or late-night talks over pizza. But as the years go by, the spontaneity of friendship seems to fade....

In a culture that champions productivity, celebrates being “booked and busy,” and treats burnout like a badge of honour, intentionally slowing down can feel like rebellion. But just like nature has its seasons—times of blooming, harvesting, resting—we, too, need cycles of pause. Enter the concept of a personal slow season: a deliberate, self-defined period where you shift gears, reassess, and recover....

Words and Photos by Mason Marreiros On June 24, 2025, BANKS took over Toronto’s HISTORY, owning the stage like no other. From opening with Guillotine, to closing with I Hate Your Ex-Girlfriend, BANKS commanded the stage, harnessing the audience’s love in every lyric. She engaged with the crowd of nearly 2500 on a personal level, stopping multiple times to interact with fans, before bursting into the next anthem....

In a world where nearly every form of entertainment is served to us by algorithms, curated by code rather than curiosity, it’s easy to forget how magical discovery used to feel. Before the scroll, before autoplay, and before the "Because You Watched" section, we found music through mixtapes from friends, stumbled across movies on late-night TV, and wandered through libraries or record stores, letting intuition lead the way....

Your home is more than just a space where you eat, sleep, and binge-watch your favourite shows. It’s the environment where your mental clarity either flourishes or diminishes. A cluttered space can overwhelm the senses, increase stress levels, and lead to stress. On the other hand, a clean and organized home fosters a sense of calm, improves focus, and supports mental well-being....

In a world that feels increasingly chaotic, one of the most underrated mental health tools doesn’t come from a therapist’s office, a self-help book, or a guided meditation app—it comes from the quiet repetition of small, intentional acts. These daily moments, often brushed off as ordinary or mundane, can hold profound power when viewed through a different lens: the lens of ritual....

We’ve all seen the posts: beautiful journals on cozy desks, morning smoothies packed with greens, motivational quotes over sunrises, and people meditating on mountaintops. The self-improvement world, especially online, is often wrapped in an aesthetic sheen. It’s alluring, hopeful, and sometimes, even helpful. But what those perfectly filtered snapshots rarely capture is the messy, invisible, nonlinear reality of healing. Because the truth is—healing doesn’t always look good....

There was a time—not long ago—when dressing up was synonymous with productivity, success, and professionalism. Crisp suits, uncomfortable shoes, and form-fitting silhouettes ruled the weekday. But in the wake of global disruption, cultural shifts, and a collective reassessment of our values, something interesting happened: we got comfortable. Really comfortable. And we’re not going back. Welcome to the era of dopamine dressing and comfort-first fashion—where your wardrobe is no longer dictated by boardroom expectations but by how you ...

In the evolving field of aesthetics, skin treatments are increasingly focused on restoring natural balance and supporting long-term health rather than producing dramatic changes. Instead of pursuing instant, high-impact alterations, many practitioners and clients are turning toward treatments that prioritize skin integrity, gradual renewal, and biologically harmonious results. Among the growing number of regenerative therapies available today, Curenex stands out for its ability to promote visible skin rejuvenation while working at a cellular level....

What’s your addiction?

Welcome to Addicted, an online lifestyle magazine that indulges readers’ wants and desires. Addicted seeks out and showcases the best in lifestyle and entertainment, featuring a range of topics that allows readers to sit back, relax, and experience the sweet rush of our editorial fix.

Addicted started as a therapeutic tool for our Editor in Chief and founder Mark Munroe. Through his own rehabilitation from addiction, he learned how to channel his addictive tendencies in a positive way, first through a journal, then online through a blog. He soon patnered with his long time best friend and online music journalist Nadia Elkharadly, and together they turned his blog into what is now known as Addicted Magazine.

For the past five years, Addicted’s tastemakers have been creating habit-forming content on the topics our readers are jonesing for. All that is cool and exciting in the Lifetyle and Entertainment worlds finds its way into the web pages of Addicted. Beauty, tech, travel, music, movies and more; these are our addictions. From reviews to interviews, and opinion to events, and even dating and romance advice, our readers quickly get hooked and keep coming back for more.
