A huge thank you to everyone that tuned in last night for the thirteen13 1985 special, so good to hear others memories of clubs and venues lost in time and their beginnings in this little scene of ours over some great tunes and a few drinks. Thanks too for the hype trains and cheers, the tips and the donations.

At the current stage we think we raised at least £110 for the Pasadena Humane Society and we'll be passing that on as soon as we can for them in their fight to help the animals displaced and rescued from the LA Fires.

1985 for me will always be one of the best years in music, it gave us classics from The Cure, The Sisters of Mercy, The Cult, New Model Army, The Damned... It saw the debut from Fields of the Nephilim, as well as some great material from Ausgang, The Inca Babies, Killing Joke, Play Dead, and some genuine underground classics. It was also the year I started doing 'stuff' in this little dark scene of ours and the first of a number of planned celebrations of my 40 years for 2025

Happy to report that Storm Bert failed to stop us last night and Mondlicht was again a fun night with old and new friends and a load of new people, some of whom travelled for miles to be there.

We have next years dates already booked, (posted in the Mondlicht group), and will get an event up soon for the next one, but before that we're back on New Years Eve with Baal Atman for NYE Tarantella 2024, tickets are going well so if you are thinking of it, don't wait!

Well, we wanted to go out with a bang last weekend with the final livestream and we did just that. Massive thanks to everyone that tuned in, and our eternal gratitude for the gifted subs, tips and cheers, those two hype trains were insane!

Last night was a reminder of all the great things that came out of the Lockdown Twitch community, that spirit was there in force and the time flew by, before we knew it we were near the end and playing a bunch of stuff that might get us told off by the Twitch Police just for kicks, and finishing the stream. We'll miss the laughs and chat but it'll be good to take a break, we may be back for the odd one off here and there, who knows?

Tomorrow at 9pm (4pm ET / 1pm PT) it's the last Thirteen13 livestream and we'll be throwing in an extra hour for the sheer hell of it, five hours of the usual top quality tunes and chat for the price of four.

We'll have new material from Zombina and the Skeletones, Inca Babies, Dead Cool, Hallowed Hearts, Vision Video and Red Lorry Yellow Lorry and a bunch of underplayed stuff from the likes of The Sundays, The Armoury Show, Getting the FEAR, Birdland and Chatshow. Oh, and I'll end with a few tracks that Twitch decided I'm not allowed to play, because why not?

Join us tomorrow and help us bury this thing properly. It'd be nice to go out with a bang.
