Exploring the diversity & excitement of the sounds that provided the soundtrack to this era. Only After Dark Radio is originated, run and administrated by Paul Ryder & is a part of OnlyAfterDark.

Com, a registered company. The purpose of this page is to explore the music played at the Rum Runner night club in Birmingham, at it's peak around 1980 and tracks released at the time of a similar spirit that were the soundtrack to my teen years. On this page I post some of the favourites and also explore some of the less well known tracks that were part of the scene at that time drawing on New Wave, Punk, Glam and Synthpop from the early 70's until the early 80's.
