Huge thank you to and their division for inviting me to their Creator event today. Today’s session was highly informative and gave great insight. Two of their members Vince and Jennifer pointed out to us the importantance of empathy. Without that empathy the games wouldn’t be relatable. It wouldn’t draw us to these wonderful characters we can all enjoy. can’t connect with the players. Also will not do the work that these wonderful performers do. It cannot and will not pick up human emotion. It will not read lines to the intent of the game. In fact AI won’t even read the room.
Also thank you to all the performers who came out today. Getting a better understanding of how the games are made was very interesting and gave insight I would not have otherwise. The voice and physical exercises gave the creators in the room a glimpse into your reality. Just being fed a line with no context is hard. Not having a whole script. you can do better! AI is not the way to go. Performers are the way to go!
