Last night the Emmys were back on with host and we were proud to be asked back for the third year in a row to screens produce the show and create the content for the scenic screen looks and show vignettes. Following the strong lines of the large flown header above and the curved LED walls onstage, we worked with production designer to develop a set of digital gold louvers in screen content that could open and close throughout the night to present packages, awards and transform the space. Inside the vignette stage we created a digital backing for a 1920s lab for the show open and also helped recreate sets from The Golden Girls, The Gilmore Girls, Survivor and Law and Order. Making these environments believable is really an equal mix of scenic, screens, lighting, props, SFX and cameras. Congrats to all who helped pull these together.
