Today on 24-05-2025 Meeting of Baba Yug Mela at Sub-divisional Magistrate office Chenani under the Chairmanship of Sh.Ranjeet Singh Kotwal(JKAS)SDM Chenani.In this meeting Kotwal sir discuss about baba yug Mela arrangements with all department and Mela committee which is to be held on 31-05-2025 at Yug Dhar.Sub-Divisional Magistrate Chenani instructed all departments to co-operate with Yug Dhar Devsthan Development trust for better arrangements of the Mela.
Other who present in the meeting Sh.Pankaj Singh(JKAS) Tehsildar Chenani;BDO Sewna and different departments heads like PHE,PDD,ARTO,PMGSY,HEALTH,MC, Sh.Baldev Singh President Yugh Dhar Development Trust and their committee members also present in the meeting.

One More Habitual Bovine smuggler detained under PSA by Udhampur Police

In a major step to curb criminal activities in the District Udhampur, Police have booked and detained one more habitual bovine smuggler under the J&K Public Safety Act (PSA) for his notorious activities in bovine smuggling on the detention orders issued by the District Magistrate Udhampur.

The accused namely Rashid S/O Ibrahim R/O Bupp, Sarar, Chenani and stands booked in a number of bovine cases registered in the District.
