Goodbye and thank you...

Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my little label for so long. Whether it was buying our releases on Bandcamp, coming to our little parties in Deal & Maidstone, played our music in your DJ sets every little bit is truly appreciated.

Unfortunately, over time it just wasn't enough to keep the label going. Since the lockdowns we had never been able to get back to our glory days and it's not fair on myself and to everyone else to keep going.

Being autistic has its challenges, especially in the music industry. We take everything so personal because we literally put our heart and soul into everything we do.
This is why we love Bandcamp, every time you make a purchase, we get a notification of who purchased what and it just makes our heart sing.

The future of Fade To Funk...

Good morning my gorgeous followers, I hope you're weekend is looking good?

Firstly, let's get the bad news out of the way.
Fade To Funk is closing down for good this time at the end of March. Let's face the facts, the label was affected from COVID (lockdowns etc) so badly that we've never been able to bring back the level of interest we had ever since.
As much as I don't want to have to do this, it's such an emotional weight around me that I can't carry it any longer so I think it's best to cut our losses and look back at what has been achieved.
But it's not all bad, if you haven't already you can pick up the entire back catalogue for a paltry sum of £16.40, that's 80% off!
Every penny from these sale has helped in some way, so please do consider buying it before it's gone completely.

So what's next I hear you say?

Well, I have started a Faebop Bandcamp account https://faeboplive.bandcamp.com/ where I shall be releasing my music from going forward. Also, I plan to 'remaster' some old tracks from Jeff Fader & potentially Deepmilo while adding some Faebop Live remixes or live renditions etc. So there's plenty of scope for new music in the very near future.

Hey...

So as the image suggests, I've decided to come back for both Faebop & Fade To Funk.
Despite these apps are now encouraging hate towards people like myself and others and as a disabled, neurodivergent q***r person, I don't have the luxury of switching social media platforms and continue to progress.

In an ideal world, I'd wish not to rely on social media at all but being born too late for that to happen, I have to deal with what's in front of me.

So I'm going to monitor the situation, post as I normally do and hope for the best.

From this moment until this policy changes with a full apology from , Fade To Funk will no longer be using this platform to promote it's music.
These changes leave myself and my artists in the front line from potential life threatening attacks with no safe guards in place.

We've now setup a Bsky account for social media presence and we'll be utilising other platforms such as YouTube and our Bandcamp page.
