It's always a good day to announce a HCR cassette release , and again from one of my favorite artists: Finland's Angel Sword. This time we have a reissue of their raucous 4 song debut EP from way back in 2013. And the tapes are already in the Hoove Child HQ and sound hotter than hell! We'll have the preorders up in time for this coming Bandcamp Friday! "You can't take the chance of not taking chances!"

Check out Nerd Icon, the 2024 album from Henrik Palm. Since discovering it on a Last Rites end of year list, I simply cannot get enough of this dark, dynamic, and mysterious album. It destroys and builds. It heals. If you need more convincing, this artist was also involved in the excellent band In Solitude!

Back in 2021 Hoove Child released Hitter's debut record, Hard Enough on 12" inch vinyl. Now about 4 years later, the stars have aligned and we will finally have the "release party" on Sunday, January 19 at Empty Bottle.
