There's a new video up on the channel now that might be the most detailed and involved production I've done so far - about how to choose the right dry fly. Here's a few shots from the production, lots of pretty involved underwater shots and macro shots. Back in September I was lucky enough to travel to Darwin with Steve Starlo's Fishotopia Starling and good mate Paul "Cecil" Gordon, to fish with Glenn Watt from Barefoot Fishing Safaris. We fished a range of different locations, but one of the main ones was Bynoe Harbour, about an hour and a half to the west of Darwin. This place is amazing, a real anglers paradise, and despite it being about 6 times the size of Sydney Harbour, we pretty much had the whole thing to ourselves - I think we saw 1 other boat in 3 days of fishing! Anyway, the latest episode up on the channel covers part 2 of this awesome adventure, here are a few still shots from the video.

If you're interested in doing some Barra and other tropical species on fly, the build up months around September are a cool time to go up north and check out these fisheries. Get in touch with Watty from Barefoot Fishing Safaris, he knows this place like the back of his hand..... ;)
