Joann Hakes, who we featured on Episode 37, has been found. Ex-boyfriend Ronald Weerheim, who we talked about in the episode, has been arrested and charged with her murder. Our thoughts and prayers to Joann’s family.

A local man was arrested Tuesday and faces murder and kidnapping charges in connection with a cold case involving a former Pocatello woman missing since January 2015.

Life update: While Jordan and baby Huxley are now home—happy and healthy—Daniel has embarked on a journey to expand his family as well. Daniel and his partner have spent the past three months diligently engaged in the adoption process and are looking to adopt a kid (or kids) out of the US foster care system. These life changes have kept us from being able to produce the quality content we have come to expect from ourselves, but are exciting adventures in our lives! Hello amazing listeners: just wanted to share with you the biggest reason why we’ve been on hiatus for such a long time - his name is Huxley and he was born on September 15th... 4 months earlier than planned, at only 23 weeks gestation. My pregnancy was incredibly difficult, and we are so lucky he’s alive. He’s been in the NICU since he was born.
So many of you have been asking when we’ll be back, and I don’t know the answer right now. But I am so grateful for all of you, and I am dying to get back to work on the podcast as soon as I can. ❤️

Hi everyone. So many of you have been asking about when to expect new episodes, and we’re sorry to have left you hanging!
We have loved working on these stories and sharing them with you. But our podcast is changing, and we’re taking the time to figure out what that means.
As big changes have been going on in our personal lives, we've decided to reevaluate where we're going with the podcast and what we want the podcast to be. And we don't have an answer to that yet.
So, in other words, we're on an extended hiatus, figuring things out. Thank you so much for your support, and when we have an answer, you'll be the first to know.

Press release is out: the amazing DNA Doe Project found potential members of his family, and later confirmed his identity through fingerprints. The family does not want his name released, and investigators typically do not release the name of su***de victims to the public.

What we do know: he was 25 when he died, from California, and the family assumed he was alive but out of contact with them. Though we may never know his name, his family knows the truth.
