Seattle's Child Seattle’s Child is your go-to for news that impacts WA families, parenting resources, and the best things to do with kids. Serving families since 1979.

“Seattle is my town. I know this city inside and out… or so I thought until I had kids.” Seattle’s Child is your guide to getting to know your city all over again. Finding things to do, places to eat, and how to get around — it’s a whole new ballgame with kids in tow. We’re interested in how parents make homes in a space-challenged urban environment, how families create community, and what parents

are talking about. Seattle’s Child reflects real Puget Sound families and their broad range of parenting experiences. The first local parenting publication of its kind, Seattle's Child is published bimonthly and is available around the community for free. We maintain a rich website full of events, information on schools, health issues and more. Our calendar of events can be filtered based on age of kids, cost, location, date, and more. We also provide an e-newsletter with updates and giveaways, and a subscription-based service for at-your-door delivery of the monthly magazine.
