We headed to Blues for the first time in a while, as the Wife said she needed something substantial to line the stomach prior to her work Xmas do, FYI she ended up in Popworld till 4am and absolutely chewed my ear off all the way home 😂

The best thing about Blues is that they change their menu options on a regular basis and you find some real gems in their snacking / sharing section. We always choose one of these to pair with their underated bacon jam beef burger, which I can never stray from even if I tried to 🍔

So let's talk the Korean fried chicken... The chicken was pull apart tender, juicy and perfectly fried. The gochujang sauce hit every spot, spicy, umami, sticky and sweet but it definitely needed the pickled ginger and slaw which rounded off the dish nicely 👏🏼

The burger is as solid as they come and the bacon jam to me is like crack to an addict so you'll never find me swerving it 🙅🏻

One thing I'd like to do is start a petition to get the jalapeno nacho fries back on the menu because I was absolutely heartbroken to see them missing on the Xmas menu 😂😭
