Aakriti Saraf’s () favourite hardware piece is the Eolo pull-out bed fitting by Pessotto Reti, the clever space-saver. It tucks neatly under an existing bed and can be easily pulled out, raised, and lowered whenever needed. Designed for durability in metal or solid wood, the product is easy to maintain and withstands daily use – while the smooth mechanism keeps it simple and convenient. Perfect for spaces such as homes, hostels, paying guest-rooms, and many others, she personally would highly recommend it.

of a home built on connection and contemporary design.

Architect Varun Goyal of Atelier Varun Goyal () crafts an 8,000 sq ft residence for his parents, as well as his paternal uncle and aunt, making this project particularly personal. Designed to house two independent yet connected households, this home celebrates the beauty of family, shared values, and intentional architecture. The aesthetic is minimal and sleek, while the natural material palette lends warmth, making it effortlessly elevated — this is monochrome done with intention.

Outdoor seating takes on a fluid, sculptural twist with the Loop Bench by Hsc Designs () – a multifunctional piece designed as a landscape installation for a private residence. This bold, dynamic and interactive form invites you to sit, lounge, and lean in any way you desire. Crafted from Ecoboard – a sustainable material made by compressing recycled wood fibres and sawdust – it transforms discarded wood-waste into art. The deep, rich tones and curves create a striking contrast against the lush greenery of the garden it sits within. Tripling as a side table, lounger, and footrest, the Loop Bench is as versatile as it is captivating.

Shubhit Khurana and Anmol Arora of Studio Dot () found the perfect solution to a common storage challenge: an in-built dehumidifier for wardrobes and other enclosed spaces. While designing an experience center for a client in the kitchen and wardrobe industry, they discovered that ventilation grills alone aren’t always enough. A slender cross-flow fan placed at the bottom, combined with strategically positioned slots, creates a continuous airflow cycle, extending the storage life. This compact, low-maintenance, and cost-effective dehumidifier is perfect for wardrobes, shoe racks, safes, and walk-in closets. Placing it near the bottom helps warm the air, prevent moisture, and keep spaces fresh.

Designed by Gayatri Nhavkar () and Gaurav Koshti () of LifeUp Studio (.studio), Bontadka (.tadka) is a masterclass in transformation—reviving the former Vijay Residency into a slow-dining oasis. With earthy textures, fluted columns, Art Deco-inspired railings, and custom terrazzo details, the interiors are a rich canvas of material expression. Chef-led menus, warm hospitality, and a curated cocktail program complete the experience, inviting guests to slow down, gather, and enjoy a moment of refined comfort.
