NightChild Records Evoking motion and emotion... In 2009, NightChild Records started signing new artists to provide an even a broader range of sound to the label from abroad.

NightChild Records was started in 2007 with the goal of releasing House music of all styles and beyond without the artistic constraints of the sometimes rigid market and allowing their artists complete artistic freedom. After they released their debut EP, NightChild began to sign music from such local New York City talents like Markos, Rob Regan, Pat King, Ariel"lights"Figueroa and more. They have

gained positive feedback by taste makers for each release along with some tracks being featured on digital retailer best seller charts. When asked how they go about choosing the music and artists they sign, they answered simply “we love good music and artists with passion and vision, there really isn’t much more to it then that.” They have had success with support from heavy weights such as Peace Division, DJ Vibe, DJ Sneak, Radio Slave, Tedd Patterson, Louie Vega, Danny Tenaglia,Demarkus Lewis, The Timewriter and Danny Krivit just to name a few. With NightChild going strong on their releases and their artists developing on every record, it’s not hard to see why they’re so relentless on keeping the music and their vision at its core. https://linktr.ee/NightChildNYC

A New York native keeping the spirit of the city’s legendary club foundations alive for a new generation, Rissa Garcia’s upcoming four-track EP isn’t chasing trends — it’s rooted in lived experience. As a New York DJ who understands the emotional arc of a room, Garcia approaches production the same way she approaches a dance floor: with intention, patience, and respect for the groove.

The EP channels the pulse of classic house — driving basslines, hypnotic percussion, and warmth that feels instantly familiar — but reframes it with a modern sensibility. It’s nostalgic without imitation. Contemporary without losing soul.

Each track feels like a moment inside a long night: tension building, bodies moving, connection forming. There’s confidence in the minimalism — space where dancers can breathe — and power in the rhythm that keeps them locked in.

This EP is for dancers who remember where house came from — and for those discovering it right now.

Rissa Garcia Announces New 4-Track House EP Blending Nostalgic Soul with Modern Drive

New York, NY — New York City–based DJ and producer Rissa Garcia returns with a powerful new four-track house music EP that captures the raw spirit of classic dance floors while pushing forward with a sleek, modern edge. Built on driving basslines, hypnotic rhythmic percussion, and emotionally charged grooves, the digital-only release showcases Garcia’s signature sound: timeless, soulful, and relentlessly danceable.

Drawing from the foundational pulse of ‘90s house and the refined energy of today’s underground, the EP channels nostalgia without feeling retro. Each track is crafted for peak-time movement — warm chord stabs, rolling low-end pressure, crisp percussion, and subtle vocal textures create an atmosphere that feels both familiar and fresh.

“This EP is about honoring where house music comes from while expressing where I am right now as an artist,” says Garcia. “It’s for the dancers who want that emotional connection and that driving energy at the same time.”

Known for her deep understanding of dance floor dynamics, Garcia translates her experience behind the decks into productions that feel intentional and immersive. The four original tracks move seamlessly between uplifting momentum and late-night groove, designed for club systems but equally powerful in headphones.

The EP will be released digitally on Garcia’s own imprint, further solidifying her commitment to creative independence and community-driven house music culture.

With this release, Rissa Garcia continues to carve her lane in the global underground — bridging eras, uniting dancers, and proving that authentic house music never goes out of style.

Stay tuned for release info!
