Craft Show Reflections
This is my first year doing craft shows — I’ve done about half a dozen so far, and I’ve also attended a few just to observe and learn. I always love reading tips, watching how others set up, and figuring out what works (and what doesn’t!). Every show teaches me something new, and I think I did pretty good for my first year.
One thing I noticed though — at a past show, I saw a few booths with two chairs right at the entrance and two very grouchy faces sitting there. Not judging, but it really made me think how energy and body language matter so much! A warm smile, a little “hi,” or even just standing to greet people can make a big difference.
We’re all learning in this journey, and it’s okay to make changes, to improve, and to try something new. If sales aren’t going as well as we hoped, maybe it’s time to step back and see what we can do differently.
