The inaugural All Americas Independent Film Festival is here!

Today, I'll be giving a short talk on the topic of “sync licensing music for film and tv” at Centro de Estudios en Ciencias de la Comunicación with Scott Hiller, Executive Director of the film festival. I’ll talk about sync licensing and Scott will also speak about directing films during the session.

The session runs from 12:00 Noon - 2:00pm. The lovation is:

Tonight, the 20th annual ÉCU - The European Independent Film Festival kicks off in Paris at Les 7 Parnassiens Cinemas. Live music presented by Access Film Music (our 15th year at ÉCU!). Check out the full music schedule at AccessFilmMusic.net/ecu

We didn't make the cover of the Rolling Stone, but Catherine's story includes a mention of Access Film Music and ÉCU! Thanks so much Catherine, and congratulations! Excited to have you performing at ÉCU in Paris with us this weekend!

Tonight's ÉCU Music Showcase / After-Party takes place at Le Tro' Quai in Paris kicks off with a performance by Rahel n Beck at 22:00, along with Andy Beckey, Daniel Kemish, Nicole Ridgwell of Cast Iron Shoes, Clint Alphin and more.

Saturday night at The Backstage in Montrouge will feature SuperGlam, Svjata Vatra, Banker of Parkin' Lot, Teresa Suydam, The Matt Backer Band, Sarah Clanton and more, and Sunday night's grand finale closing celebration will be at Café Oz The Australian Bar Grands Boulevards with Catherine Ashby, Denise Mangiardi, The Bart Ryan Band and more.

Live acoustic sessions at Les 7 Parnassiens Cinema throughout the weekend.

Utah songwriter / musical phenom Alicia Stockman closes out the 20th and final AccessFilmMusic Showcase in Park City, Utah USA.

Huge thanks to all of the amazing, gifted, generous musicians who performed over the past 20 years. It's been a huge part of my life, and I hold deep gratitude for each of you. Special thanks to our chief engineer and drummer Greg Friedman -- Couldn't have done it without you Greg. And to Burton Wayne Hurner whose original idea for a songwriter showcase during Sundance blossomed and grew into something extraordinary.

I hope to see you all in Paris May 9 - 11 for the ÉCU Film Festival and in Mexico City August 15 - 17 at the All Americas Independent Film Festival.
