Micaveli, aka Mic Journey, (born February 15, 1989 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina) is an Engineer, Artist, DJ, Producer and Business Entrepreneur who originates from a family comprised entirely of musicians. Because of the musical influences in his life, Mic learned how to play the drums and piano at a very young age. As he grew older, he began falling in love with Hip Hop’s music and culture,
which inspired him to learn how to record, mix and master his own music from home. After gaining a small buzz within his hometown and performing several shows with national acts (such as Killah Priest, Cappadonna, Timbo King, Raekwon, Smif-N-Wessun), Mic Journey became Co CEO of a record label called “Regulated Records” as well as the hip hop group “Regulators Music Group” which eventually turned into 'The Commission Productions'. As of late, he has made appearances on several Wu Tang projects and performances. He has also worked with Petey Pablo, Bobby Valentino, DJ Unk, Bob Marleys Wailers, and Plies.
