QR provides a variety of high-quality programming and entertainment to the student community of Belfast, Northern Ireland and beyond. From hip-hop to heavy metal; topical discussions to interviews with local artists - there is something for everyone!

WE GOT THE BEAT 🎶

‘We Got The Beat’ is a live radio show hosted every Monday from 6-7pm by Ellen Beamish. ‘We Got The Beat’ is inspired by and named after a song by the most successful female band of all time The Go-Gos!

For one hour every week the show will play female artists and bands with the opportunity for local bands to get involved by sending in their own music. The show will also talk about live upcoming gigs coming up in Northern Ireland too helping to support women in the local music scene.
