Back in 2019, after a Louisiana governor’s election, I had a conversation with a young man who told me he had voted—but didn’t know who or what he was voting for. That moment sparked something in me. I wanted to start a political podcast to inform and encourage people to be more engaged and educated about the issues that affect our lives.
At first, the idea didn’t fully materialize. Instead, the Lord opened a door for me to begin a Bible study podcast. But in November 2020, after the presidential election and all the uncertainty that was sweeping across our nation, I felt it was finally time. I launched a podcast with the mission of speaking the truth and exposing lies. And I’m proud to say that for the past four and a half years, I’ve done just that.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end.
I want to share with you today that I will no longer be producing The Isaac Hayes Show. This decision was not made lightly—it came after much prayer and reflection. I’m not stepping away from the microphone entirely. I’ll still be podcasting on Brothers Just Searching and sharing my thoughts on various programs and podcasts from Primetime Media.
The reason for this shift is simple: I feel the Lord calling me to focus more deeply on ministry and advancing His Kingdom, as well as spending more precious time with my family.
To everyone who was a part of this journey—thank you. I sincerely hope you continue to be part of my life and mission. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” And yes, the season of The Isaac Hayes Show and The Cajun Conservative Show is coming to a close. But the purpose—telling the truth and standing for what’s right—will continue on.
And remember: the world knows now that Cajuns do have intelligence.
Love to each and every one of you. Keep fighting for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
Sincerely,
Isaac Hayes
