It was another scary good evening of horror this past Saturday night at the AFI Silver with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Here are pictures of a couple of hundreds of fans who were there. The first one, who I didn't recognize, turned out to be a HS classmate of mine, Paul Bennek and the last lovely lady is Lori B. who has been to everyone one of these events, except for one.

A big thanks to everyone who came out to support this ongoing attempt to keep bringing classic live hosted horror to the big silver screen!

I am thrilled to see that my good fiend...I mean freind, Svengoolie is the subject of a wonderful article by Christopher Borelli in the Chicago Tribune. Not only does it give a history of this iconic character but also introduces you to the man who currently plays the role. What really nice is that Borelli does a nice job of fitting Sven into the world inhabited by so many other horror hosts.

As you know, I'll be live hosting the Texas Chainsaw Massacre this Saturday night at the AFI Silver Theatre in Silver Spring, Maryland at 7pm. I got a note from my good friend and film maker Jeff Krulik telling me that he did a bang up retrospective on the film for it's 20th anniversary with lots of the people involved with the production.

I think this is a fabulous warm up for seeing the film again on the BIG screen. Here is the link:
