NEW: Ransom note claims Nancy Guthrie died shortly after kidnapping...

On Friday, the Pima County Sheriff's Office in Tucson, Arizona, released two ransom notes that media outlets received on Feb. 2 and Feb. 6. One ransom note demands a $4 million payment for Nancy's safe return. The other ransom note says the abductors "didn't fully grasp the seriousness of her condition" and says Nancy died shortly after she was taken from her home.

"We believe it was a heart related," the person wrote. "She is buried in nature now."

Investigators want the public to read the ransom notes to see if the writing style fits someone they know.

"As with the unidentified male depicted in the video, we believe these distinctive linguistic characteristics may be recognizable to someone who knows or has interacted with the notes' writer," the sheriff's office said. "A friend, family member, coworker, classmate, or acquaintance may recognize these patterns of expression and possess information that could help identify the individual responsible."

Derrick Callella, 42, pleaded guilty in federal court Thursday to sending a fake ransom demand in connection with the Nancy Guthrie disappearance.

Callella pleaded guilty to two felony counts of sending a ransom demand across state lines and using a telecommunications device to threaten or harass.

Prosecutors told the judge on Thursday that Callella had tested positive for drugs. He admitted to using drugs four days earlier, according to Tucson's KVOA-TV.

As part of a plea agreement, Callella will serve five years of probation. He is set to be sentenced on September 10.

BREAKING: A Texas teen has been found guilty of murder over the fatal stabbing of another teen at a high school track meet last year.

Karmelo Anthony, 19, was indicted on first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf at a track meet in Frisco.

Prosecutors called the stabbing "senseless" and "plain and simple murder," while the defense argued that Anthony acted in self-defense.

The murder charge carries a sentence of up to life in prison.
