We did not fish as much as we wanted to last week but caught some False Albacore (pictured) kingfish and a ton of barracuda, lol. Caught 3 at once even. :)

What a phenomenal fish 13 year old Julian Her from Marysville caught today fishing with his uncle in tomales bay CA. This behemoth white sea bass weighed in at 63.7 pounds on their scale at Bodega Tackle. Now what is awesome about this fish is Julian just might have a new world record here. This could qualify for the IGFA Junior world record that currently stands at 59 pounds set in 2002, and also a Junior line class world record. How awesome would that be to beat a record that's been standing for 23 years! This would also qualify for the IGFA trophy class as well because it's above the 60 # qualification to get in that as well. So many great things the IGFA has to offer. I'll get more details and make sure they submit the correct paperwork with the IGFA. So will see in a few months if it gets approved.

Got to hangout and do some fishing with this week! 🤟 Ben caught a Bonita on the jig so we chunked it up and got on the deepdrop bite with this light current in Miami. We ended up finding some snowy grouper, yellow eye snapper and some vermillion snapper. 🦾
