Major League Fishing selects Chickamauga Lake in Dayton, Tennessee, for the 2026 Phoenix Bass Fishing League Wild Card tournament.
Major League Fishing (MLF) has chosen Chickamauga Lake and Dayton, Tennessee, to host the 2026 Phoenix Bass Fishing League (BFL) Presented by T-H Marine Wild Card event on November 13-14. The tournament is hosted by Fish Dayton North and the Rhea County Department of Tourism, with boats launching from the new Fish Dayton North ramp.
To qualify, anglers must have entered all five events in a Phoenix BFL division during the 2026 season, competed in at least two of them, and not already earned a spot in the All-American through prior qualification.
Daily takeoffs begin at 7:30 a.m. ET from the Fish Dayton North launch ramp at 8055 Old Washington Highway in Dayton. Weigh-ins start at 3:30 p.m. both days at the State Park. Fans can attend in person or follow the “MLF Live” weigh-in broadcasts on MajorLeagueFishing.com.
The full field fishes both days, with the heaviest two-day totals deciding the winners. The top seven boaters and top seven co-anglers advance to the 2027 Phoenix Bass Fishing League All-American on the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes in Kissimmee, Florida (June 5-7, 2027), hosted by Experience Kissimmee.
There is no off-limits period before the pretournament meeting. After the meeting begins, anglers may not be on the water to locate bass or fishing spots except during official tournament hours.
Entry opens Monday, October 5 at 8 a.m. CT and closes Thursday, November 5 at 5 p.m. CT. Anglers can register by calling 270.252.1000.
