🐈 Help a Stray, Use STRAW 🐈 (Not Hay or blankets ever!) The temperatures are dropping, just a friendly reminder (and please share) Do not ever use towels, blankets, or pet beds (UNLESS HEATED pet mat) outside. Doing so will NOT keep the kitty warmer, it will actually absorb the moisture from the air and freezes the material which in turn will pull body heat from the animal as they sleep and they will freeze to death. Hay gets wet and molds, Straw insulates and keeps them cozy! If your shelter will be in the outdoors, a insulated tote or cooler with a hole cut in it and filled with straw does WONDERS to save fur babies lives! You tube has some great videos how to make them for a minimal price. THANK YOU to all animal lovers that provide shelters during these cold months
