I would like to give a special shout out to Steve Rosen who was very kind to send me a copy of his latest book, ToneChaser understanding Edward: my 26-year journey with Edward Van Halen . As I’m experiencing some much needed downtime I had a chance to check it out and it’s an amazing read . There’s a lot of great content in this book ( spanning almost 30 years in chronological order) everything from road stories to guitar and amplification tech stuff ,and everything in between. It almost makes you feel like you are in the room with them as they just talk . The biggest takeaway I get from this book is that Edward from day one was always evolving as a musician , chasing the sounds he heard in his head and nothing mattered but the music. Thank you again Steve ( who in my opinion is one of if not the best Rock Journalist in the business ) if you are a fan or musician you would really dig it.Tonechaser - Understanding Edward Book
