LACM: Los Angeles College of Music, CSUN Associated Students, CSUN Music Industry Administration, University of Southern California, UCLA, Cal Poly Pomona & Mount Saint Mary's University students, there's still time to apply for this year's John Braheny Scholarship Award!

This annual scholarship is awarded to qualified music industry studies majors living in the greater Los Angeles area. The scholarship was first awarded in 2012. In 2013, the CCC renamed the scholarship in memory of former CCC President, John Braheny.

“Wild”, the debut single from Young Slang, slinks along like a lazy chant then slowly reveals its true intention. Restrained at first, a sleazy nightclub saxophone sets the stage for the eventual explosion of energy and angst. Reminiscent of 90’s Morphine mixed with de-tuned post disco...this is a perfectly polite insolent anthem of youth and freedom.

Vocal reckless abandon, set against post disco drums easily slides into comparisons with The Clash, Vi**ra Boys, IDLES and LCD Soundsystem.
