“We showed up. And we shined.”
Last Monday night at the 3 Cold Dishes premiere, we didn’t just walk a red carpet—we walked into history.

From Lagos to Los Angeles, our stories continue to rise. This powerful film by Asurf Oluseyi, and executive produced by Burna Boy, Osas Ighodaro, and Bose Ogulu, reminds us what happens when African women reclaim their voices.

Team Toyin Lufadeju of The Lufatee Project (TLP)—you did something unforgettable.
We see you. We celebrate you.
And we can’t wait for the world to see this film.

🎬 To every survivor, every storyteller, every sister—this one’s for us.

Celebration of visibility, survival, and cultural pride.
Drop a ❤️ if you believe our stories deserve the spotlight.

Still feeling the love and purpose from the 2025 ACoM Expo & Awards. I was deeply honored to receive an award for my reporting—but what moved me most was standing beside so many incredible storytellers who carry the voices of our communities every single day.

These awards don’t just celebrate headlines—they uplift the soul of ethnic media. From joy to struggle, history to healing, immigrant journeys to everyday triumphs, these are the stories that matter.

Thank you to ACoM, Sandy Close, the sponsors, and all the media warriors in that room—and those holding it down behind the scenes. This was more than an event. It was a homecoming.
