On October 21 it'll be 56 years since Jean-Louis Lebris de Kérouac died. Better known to us as "Jack Kerouac", he inspired many and died young. Musician Ronnie Elliott told a great story about the final days of Jack in his song Jack's St. Pete Blues.
On October 21, 2025 musician Jay Luttrull will be releasing his own version of the Elliott song which I collaborated, produced, and then created a video for it. Please find Jay on your favorite streaming network or YouTube and subscribe so you'll catch the release of this song when it hits the wires!
This song includes:
Jay Luttrull - Vocals
Dan Terpstra - Guitar, cello, theremin, backup vocals, producer, video cinematographer, and editor
Dr James Brown - Bass Guitar
Scott Veenstra - Drums, rain stick, shaker, and tongue drum
Kendal Kurzeja - Backup vocals
The video features Jeremy K Stout as Jack Kerouac at the Park Theatre in Holland and Kirk Park in Port Sheldon.
Ronnie Elliott's original appeared on 2003's Hep
