ICYMI | Senior High School (SHS) Students sparkles with joy as Pasinaya: SHS Ugnayan & Socials brings light to their nights with performances and games brought by the Josenian Community this October 24.

In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Rafael Patrick M. Pecjo, School Principal highlighted the three words that can be formed using Pasinaya—“Pasiya,” “Siya,” and “Saya”—emphasizing that “sa bawat PASIYA, kasama natin SIYA sa hirap o SAYA.”

Pasinaya serves as a celebration of unity and a reminder of the shared journey of every Senior High School Josenian. The evening featured exciting games led by various clubs, followed up by a lineup of captivating performances from Glee Club, Tanghalang Josenians, Ensemble Club, and Spotlight.

The night wrapped up with a raffle draw and an open party, leaving the dance floor filled with energy, laughter and memories to look back on.

LOOK | Several areas in Navotas are still dealing with the aftermath of last night's flooding. While water levels have started to recede, some streets remained submerged, but not as deep as they were at the height of the storm.

In Brgy. Tangos North, piles of garbage now line the coastal alleyways, making the access to the shoreline difficult. Residents also report damaged boats and debris scattered across flood-hit zones.

LOOK | Several places in Navotas, especially in Barangay Bagumbayan South and Sipac-Almacen are flooded due to Typhoon and high-tide.

Areas such as Bagumbayan South are experiencing severe flooding as a barrier collapsed in the fish drop-off point. P. Gabriel Street in Sipac-Almacen is also affected as floodwaters continue to rise.

Currently, the Navotas Navigational Gate is closed and already being overflowed by the strong winds and storms or stormsurge.

Still, the peak of the 2-meter high tide is expected at 12:55 AM, which may further worsen and heighten the situation.
