I always find posts mo fb people asking about registering as Debswana vendor through SAP Ariba. Go motlhoho hao register because all you will need are certificates of someone who did financial accounting kana AAT le wa any discipline as a Site manager but i think is better if you use the 1 with engineering discipline. There are four stages in this process.

STAGE 1
1. Go to www.debswana.co.bw
2. Click on Supply Chain tab
3. Click on register as a supplier
4. Fill in the form and you will need your tax clearance certificate number.
5. Click on submit

STAGE 2 (you proceed to this stage only if they have sent you account creation link)
1. Click on the link they sent to your e-mail.
2. Fill in the questionnaire, just basic info about your company
3. Attach any documents that are needed
4. This is where you will be asked to attach the aforementioned personnel documents
5. If you are sure with the info that you provided click on SUBMIT.

STAGE 3- OFFICE INSPECTION: (If they are happy with your answers thats when you proceed to this stage).
1. You will need an office, and the following equipments are needed:

Main purpose of the job
To implement the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act to protect right holders

Qualifications, experience and knowledge required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Arts or any other related programme.
• Post graduate qualifications in Intellectual Property or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Five (5) years post qualification experience in Project Management
• Operational knowledge in copyright administration

Key responsibilities
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act
• Coordinate, facilitate and participate in the activities of the Levy on Technical Devices Fund Committee.
• Managing, monitoring, and evaluating the impact of projects funded through the Levy on Technical Devices Fund, and producing reports on the same.
• Distribution of the security device and ensure compliance to the use of the device.
• Accreditation of producers, owners and importers of sound and audio-visual works.
• Inspect books and quarterly inventory returns of accredited producers, importers and owners of sound and audio-visual works.
• Receive and interpret reports from COSBOTS to ensure compliance with the Copyright and Neighbouring Rights Act, COSBOTS’s constitutions policies and rules, principles of good governance.
• Coordinate and facilitate preparations for the activities of the Copyright Arbitration Panel.
• Write reports on the proceedings, decisions and activities of the Copyright Arbitration Panel and the Levy on Technical Devices Fund Committee.
• Represent Botswana in regional and international forums on copyright and neighbouring rights.
• Implementation of partnership agreements.
• Research on copyright issues so as to stay abreast on current and emerging issues in the area of copyright and neighbouring rights.
• Develop and implement strategies for the promotion, growth and development of creative industries of Botswana.
