Already on the third day of this new year! It’s hard to believe yet another year is behind us, and before we know it this one will be fading in the rearview as well. Reminiscing and grateful for the experiences, scenery, lessons learned, and decisions made in 2025; the photo dump is just a mere fraction of the highlights of my year. Praying for one just as blessed and more fruitful than ever!

The 2025 season hasn’t been like I dreamed, but it’s been a productive one! I can’t thank God enough for allowing me to live this life, and once again chase these crazy dreams. The sights, sounds, and the overall journey doesn’t disappoint! Here’s to looking towards 2026, and by God’s grace it’s going to be even better; big things are coming!

Making midday moves during my early November, Ohio rut hunt. Burning up the app, jumping from waypoint to waypoint trying to find the action!

From early season to late, beginning to end, no matter the tree having the ability to stay mobile is instrumental in year to year successes and simply seeing more action in the whitetail woods. I know it gets a lot of “hate”, or simply misunderstood in my opinion, but saddle hunting has proven to myself yet again just how effective it can be. I’m not a “dyed in the wool” or “saddle snob” by any means; I still sit in my permanent lock-ons and even blinds placed in my go to spots. But, if I need to dive in deep to secluded areas, move where the action is, or walk in and hunt on a property for the first time you can bet I’ll be strapping the saddle kit to my pack!

Don’t lose sight of the little things in life, grab hold of them and soak in those fleeting moments. Obviously as a bowhunter that moment you finally get to put your hands on the game you pursue is much anticipated. So, taking time to fully embrace that moment is key to the process along with all the moments in between. Even more so, taking that same mindset towards time with God and family is hugely beneficial. Don’t let the hustle of life and goals cause you to speed past what matters… I’m preaching to myself here…
