As Blue Unicorn closes in on its 50th birthday, the Spring 2025 issue has gone out by post to 37 states and 7 foreign countries. In a time when so much “content” (including ours) is available on line, is it just old fashioned to keep on publishing a hard-copy edition? Maybe, but our contributors and readers seem to like it that way. Poetry is--or should be--language worth rereading; ink on paper somehow backs up that claim. And there are subtleties to print layout that get lost onscreen. So, even while BU works to improve its electronic presence, the good folks at Minuteman Press in Berkeley, California, can count on our business for quite a while.
