Our Story

Born & raised in Las Vegas, Alien8Events Owner & Founder DTEK describes himself as a purveyor of deep, infectious dance grooves within a feel good atmosphere. Having grown up on his parent’s love of rock (Boston, Led Zeppelin), early 2000’s hip-hop (Ludacris, Eminem) and R&B/soul music (The Supremes, Marvin Gaye)… all which became infused with his own love for both old-school hip-hop and house music, DTEK ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence.

“For me, it’s all about mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date.“

A very active member of his local community, DTEK is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a city considered to be the music capital of the world. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events throughout the United States, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer, promoter, and entrepreneur, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.

“I don’t look at music as my way to succeed, I look at music as a way for our city to grow together and unite as one. Music is truly the answer to all of our problems.”
