IT WAS NOT TOO MUCH CAPACITY

Hello Eddy,

I watched with disgust; your recent interview with Akinbaloye and I am compelled to write this intervention—It was not too much capacity!

I will be frank, I did not have the patience to watch the whole video, but after several days, I have managed to watch excerpts which are characterised by half-truths and outright lies.

I am therefore writing to draw your attention to the untrue assertions you made, not because you do not know that they are untrue, but because I want you to know that we also know that they are untrue. In essence, we are not deceived.

I will not dissipate energy on the price of rice, no! I will rather concentrate on the "too much capacity" illusion because indeed, your downfall was certainly not as a result of capacity as you would want us to believe. It was not too much capacity!

You knew or had reasons to know—that Bello did not pick you, primarily because you are not an Ebira Okene! Certainly, it was not too much capacity!

You knew or had reasons to know that even if you were an Ebira Okene, nobody would trust you, because you do not deserve trust. It was not too much capacity!

Remove yourself from the equation and frankly choose a successor for yourself, would you choose a you? Certainly, it was not about capacity!

I also watched you say Igala people love you, what bravery! My brother, you are the most hated politician in Igala land today and it has nothing to do with too much capacity!

The hatred is not exactly because you supported an Ebira man in 2019, rather, it is about how you went about supporting him. You justified the evil that was meted on everybody, including the East, West and Central. You are not liked and it is not about too much capacity.

You were not the only Igala man who supported Bello in 2019. You only took the fight personal—insulting Igala people on Facebook everyday. That is the reason you are hated and it is not about too much capacity.

Unfortunately for you, you have not learnt. The same attitude that led to your downfall and hatred was radiating in you in that interview.

Your comeback strategy has not worked, you surely need to do more; and in your next endeavour, try and be sincere with yourself by not blaming it on too much capacity.
