In 2011, I took the plunge into freelancing and it was an absolute blast. The journey led me to the UK, where I balanced remote work with life in Bristol, soaking up great times with friends. But life threw a curveball in 2015, and I needed to return home to help with some family matters. Thankfully one of my contracting clients offered me a full-time role, providing the stability I needed.

Like many in the tech sector, my company faced challenges post-Covid and, unfortunately, I was part of a layoff at the end of 2022. This experience, however, wasn't without its silver linings. It was a rich learning ground, significantly enhancing my content creation skills.

2024 has been a fantastic year so far. I've been continuously engaged in work since January, and the outlook is promising. It's exciting to collaborate with a diverse range of clients on various projects.

Taking a leap of faith in myself again was the best decision I made at the end of 2023. I'm thrilled to be back in the freelancing world, embracing the dynamism and variety it offers. Here's to new opportunities and the endless possibilities that freelancing brings!
