In 10 minutes an innocent life will be taken. To the Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson and governor Mike Parsons who have chosen to turn away from righteousness, who have cast their power upon the life of Marcellus Williams, I speak not out of vengeance, but in alignment with the law of the universe. May the hands of those who wield unjust power tremble under the weight of their cruelty. The scales of justice you tip toward death will one day crush you beneath their weight. You stand at the precipice of righteousness and corruption, and by choosing the path of injustice, you summon a darkness that will follow you like a shadow, swallowing the light from every corner of your being.
As you have denied the cry of the innocent, may your sleep be haunted by the weight of his innocence. May the ancestors rise in their fury, and the spirits of justice turn their eyes toward you. May the blood on your hands burn, and the lies on your tongues taste of ash. For every breath you steal, may you lose tenfold in peace, in health, in the wholeness of your soul.
