Ghana has just introduced a brand-new Renewable Energy and Green Transition Fund to finance low-carbon infrastructure and innovation. Launched at the “Future of Energy” Conference in Accra in late August 2025, the fund is geared toward scaling renewables like clean cooking, green hydrogen, EVs, and solar-backed solutions. It’s designed to catalyse Ghana’s shift to a greener, more inclusive energy system
