While other funk labels have had a tendency to keep looking backwards and also to keep playing safe in terms of what funky house is and what it's not. ve. In other words, funkiness can be found in many genres and is not exclusive to the popular funk house genres of today.. Bleep Funk pays tribute to the phat-ness, the hardness of old 70s funk and even disco which he feels has not been fully translated yet. Bleep Funk seeks to fill that gap and move funk and disco towards the future, to honour the greats of original funk and disco by breaking new barriers and to see how far this funk universe can expand. For to Bleep Funk Records, this 'psychedelic, no rules, how funky can we get?’ philosophy of the 70's Funk Masters was the legacy they left to today's dancers and music makers.Bleep Funk Records aims to honour that code.
