Clarity Audio Productions Clarity Productions is the recording studio of Blake Matthews and is based just outside of Raleigh.

I got my start as a songwriter, guitarist and vocalist in bands but I always had an obsession with what made a great sounding recording. From the production and performance aspects to the technical side and how to achieve the tones found on my favorite records, I was obsessed with it all. After a decade of honing my skills and meeting a lot of great people along the way, I started Clarity Audio Productions to bring the skills I acquired to others. I know that a great final product is all about capturing the energy and emotion of a song. For one song that may be a polished stacks of vocal layers and drums you can feel in your chest. For the next song, that could be more of a "live band in a room" vibe. I care deeply about each project and do not take lightly that you are trusting me as a partner to help bring your vision to life.

Gibson Les Paul Traditional 2017 (literally the most les Paul Les Paul I’ve ever seen Les Paul)

Empirical labs Fatso (basically 2 distessors with fixed settings for easy recall, and a very unique and controllable saturation)

SSL Ultra Violet EQ (the full version of the EQ in the fusion, the mid bands are insanely flexible. It’s a really nice sweetening eq while still being fairly clean. Its honestly better than the version in the fusion to me)

2 WA73-EQ (2 neve 1073 clones, preamp and eq)

Warm Audio Bus Compressor (clone of the SSL bus compressor)

WA76 (clone of an 1176 compressor)
