"Drug Abuse: Who Should You Trust?"

Last week, a distressing incident made headlines: a woman received either a forty-year prison sentence or, in the worst case, life imprisonment for giving another woman, possibly a friend, a particular drug for malaria. Tragically, the recipient of this medication experienced fatal complications.

From our very first days in Nursery class at DE-ELITE Schools, we instill a fundamental principle: only medical practitioners should recommend medicines. This lesson holds true for all of us.

Consider this: Would you willingly board an airplane piloted by a market woman? Would you trust a fishmonger to teach you how to swim? Could a mason proficiently translate a Chinese script into English because they excel at mixing soil?

The answer is a resounding "no." Only those with the necessary skills and knowledge should undertake such tasks.

So, why would you accept drug recommendations from just anyone? Why, in turn, would you dispense a specific medication to anyone who asks for it?

Let's commit to educating our mothers, sisters, fathers, and brothers: it's not only unwise but also perilous to heed drug advice from individuals without proper medical expertise. Dispensing medications without qualification can be deadly.

May our actions promote safety and well-being.

What's the completion of this proverb: Adàgbà jẹ́....

First let mẹ tell you a story.

The other day, my wife and I were discussing how it would have been if CAC had refused to approve our school name.

Note, we had tried the abbreviated form and they approved another name entirely....

So, we decided to use the full name, DE-ELITE MUSLIM MONTESSORI SCHOOL LTD and it was approved. You can check it. Na to just go pay remain.

Then, we thought that, we would have used another name. We would have to change the exercise books, the forms, the uniforms, sport wears, cardigans and banners.

Ha! Parents would have said: why do you keep changing name now?

Some would have said: so, you're not registered? Na wa o.

Then we thanked God for a successful registration.

It was at this point that the above proverb came. What if we had been twenty years in business and we then decided to register our business name and it was not approved and we had to change it, what would we have done.

Obviously, we would have to change it. And we would have become .... You know it yourself.
