It’s so hard when my kids ask for a toy or a treat when we are out shopping, and I have to tell them no. Obviously I wish the answer could be yes every time!
But that’s not always feasible, and it’s not what’s best for them either.
As tough as it is, being told “no” is a good learning experience for everyone.
So when the answer is no, my goal is to be understanding and show compassion and love in guiding their actions when they feel disappointed ❤️

These two little guys keep me on my toes, especially when they start hitting each other. Instead of reacting with frustration, I’ve been focusing on teaching them how to express their feelings without hurting one another. It’s all about setting boundaries with love, staying calm (even when it’s hard), and showing them how to resolve conflicts peacefully. Some days are tougher than others, but we’re learning together. 💛 Gentle reminders, lots of hugs, and plenty of patience are what help us grow through these moments.

We have coloring accidents All. The. Time. At first I used to get really upset, but that never ever helps the situation haha 😅
So instead, I just calmly explain that walls are not for coloring on, and instead, he can color on paper!
Also, thank goodness for magic erasers✨

During our recent Disneyland adventure, Roman had a little meltdown over his purple seat and refused to cooperate.

Handling tantrums in public isn’t easy but knowing it was almost snack time, I quickly found a semi-secluded spot to help him through it. I reassured him that I understood his frustration but reminded him that a snack was just around the corner.

After a few minutes of hand-feeding and talking about the fun ahead, he forgot all about the seat and was ready to continue our magical day! 🌟
