Be aware of potential severe weather on Sunday evening

WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM SUNDAY TO 8 AM EDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...South winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts between 45 to 55 mph expected.

* WHERE...All of central Indiana.

* WHEN...From 11 AM Sunday to 8 AM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A cold front is expected to pass through
Indiana Sunday night, after which the wind direction will become
west-northwesterly.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

Thomas “Tom” Lester Ruble, 74, of Greensburg, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis. Judith “Judie” Lee Vanderbur, 87, of Greensburg, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Morning Breeze. She was born on April 27, 1938, in Greensburg, Indiana, the daughter of Morris Miller and Marjorie (Creech) Firsich. Judie attended Greensburg Community High School, and after her school years she embraced a hardworking life filled with many roles. South Decatur Basketball

South Decatur traveled to Seymour to battle in Regional action against Hauser on Saturday afternoon. The Jets scored early in the first leading the Cougars at the end of one 23-8. Hauser continued to dominate in the second quarter 42-19. The Cougars made a strong comeback in the third quarter but it wasn't enough. Hauser continued to dominate in the fourth quarter. Final Score Hauser 74 South Decatur 54. South Decatur made a good run on the season but the Jets advance to Semi State.
