Wanna WIN a limited edition ROG x Hatsune Miku PC set up?!

Had an awesome time in Sydney at the Unlock the ROG Lab.

That's right, HANDS ON with the new ROG Xbox Ally X handhelds.
Also interesting being able to try a docked setup with controller 🎮

Won big on the claw machine FIRST TRY.
Plus picked up many custom PC build ideas from all of the computers you could try out.
For sure learnt that RGB cables can make a GPU power cable one heck of a feature!

Oh yes, and of course, the details on each piece of the ROG x Hatsune Miku collab was incredibly well done.
The Teal and Pink, my goodness is it stunning, and the custom print details very crisp.

How did I measure the vibration absorption of my 3D printed speaker stands?

Free app I found called PHYPHOX

Allows you to record your phones built in sensors.

For the speakers, I attached my phone to the desk with a clamp, and could then measure the difference between speaker on desktop vs foam riser vs 3D printed stand.

Been a while since this project, and am starting to think a slight facelift and reprint of my design is needed.

I also just uploaded my deep dive review on Google's attempt at an AirTag... It's for sure an attempt 😉

Spotify.mp3 player mod for Pixel Watch gen 1.

Seems to be a huuuuge gap in the market for single purpose tech.

Since no one was going to give me a minimal distraction free streaming device I made my own.

Well technically over a year since I built my custom PC.

But only 9 months since the widebody refresh to be able to add dust filters, and make it look like this 😍

we have POWER ⚡

One of my favourite parts of the ultimate charge wall is the cable management clips.

Something so satisfying seeing the cables do the right angle bend and then join up together to wrap around the back.

The round battery runs are also a huge fav, keeping discharge order but also allowing to grab any one as they have varying capacity.

Soooooo many design details that enhance every aspect of charging daily tech.

I met a Microsoft Engineer 😄

Well actually a few Engineers and Designers that showed myself along with fellow Aussie creator mates what makes the new Surface Pro 12" special.

1. Photo with Robyn, lead engineer, which I could spend all day asking questions!
2. Aussie Creator mates 🤙 (left to right) .nat
3. Airflow of new Surface Laptop thermal cooling.
4. Tiny wireless charging coil inside the Slim Pen
5. Kickstand angle test for Keyboard magnet strengths.
6. Exploded view of Laptop, absolutely ART.
7. Opera House whilst driving on Harbour Bridge.
8. Prop plane from my regional town to Sydney.
9. Back in the studio with the final product for review.

There are no doubt pros and cons for making a tablet form factor computer smaller and lighter with better battery life, and you can find what they are in my full video on YouTube.

Big thanks to for the awesome experience.

Whilst this was a collab their confidence in the products shined as they really made me feel at ease being able to film and talk about anything.

Windows 95 was on the first computer I ever used 🖥️

Windows 98 stumped me in primary school, as I remember trying to copy the games onto my own floppy disc drive and it never worked...
Realising now I simply copied the desktop shortcut 😅

Windows XPs wallpaper is burnt into my brain, it would have also been the first OS I totally fried with viruses when learning what not to download.

Windows Vista...

Windows 7 finished off my highschool years where I even rocked a slide out windows Mobile phone that had Word, yes MS Word in my pocket, revolutionary!

Windows 8 was on my first custom PC build whilst studying IT at university.

Windows 10 supported all of my creative endeavours, gaming and even job in IT for many years.

Finally...
Windows 11 running on my completely custom build PC and new surface laptop thanks to Microsoft.

It's surreal as a computer nerd to realise that I reference points in history based on what OS I was using, it's like an anchor for a period in time.

Well now, now I have a new anchor, before and after I was invited to the Microsoft headquarters in Sydney.

I'm incredibly grateful to everyone that's supported my creative endeavours and made this experience possible.

Cannot wait to see what's next! And I don't just mean Windows 12, whenever that comes haha 🤙

On my desk you'll find not only a distraction free eNotebook, but also a custom pen with 3D printed mods 😜

For over 2 years I've used the smaller size, currently the Nomad.
But I've been testing the larger Manta and it's not simply a bigger screen.

SYDNEY DAY 1

So happy I get to share what I wish I knew when I was starting to make review videos.

From thinking of unique videos to simple filming tips, being able to share this with other creatives is so awesome.

It's also really exciting to meet subscribers and hear about your own custom desk builds or tech projects!
