🧡 Happy Parent Appreciation Day from Arkansas Memories! 🧡

Arkansas parents knew how to raise a family on faith, fried chicken, and fierce love. They worked long hours, packed us into the pickup truck for trips to town, and taught us to say “yes ma’am” and “thank you” without thinking twice. They didn’t need smartphones, they had front porches, home-cooked meals, and big hearts.

What’s one thing your mom or dad did that still sticks with you today? Drop a photo, tag your parents, or leave a memory below to honor the folks who made Arkansas home. 🏡

Who remembers shopping at Kmart?
Here’s a look inside the store in 1967. Kmart once had locations in Russellville, Little Rock, Fort Smith, Cabot, and West Memphis. Did you shop at one of these, or was there another spot I missed?
