Caregivers Wanted

Seeking compassionate and experienced caregivers for an 87-year-old woman with full mental faculties who requires non-ambulatory support. She is primarily sedentary and spends most of her time in a recliner.

Caregivers will use a lift for safe mobility assistance.

Shifts Available

• Three-hour shifts, twice during the day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily personal care needs.

• Prepare meals; breakfast & dinner.

• Use the lift for repositioning and transfers.

• Provide companionship and engaging conversation to support her mental well-being.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

• Prior experience with non-ambulatory care (Sara-Flex experience preferred but not required).

• Certification in caregiving, nursing assistance, or a related field.

• A kind, reliable, and compassionate demeanor.

🌠 The Delta Aquarids are coming…

From July 12 to August 23, the night sky will host one of summer’s quiet celestial shows — peaking on the night of July 28 into the early hours of July 29.

Expect a steady stream of 15 to 20 meteors per hour, glowing silently across the darkness — if conditions are just right.

The best time to watch? After midnight.

Look southeast — around 3:00 am, the radiant point rises highest, and the meteors appear to fall from that patch of sky.

No noise. No crowds.
Just Earth, space, and streaks of light reminding us —

The universe is always in motion. ✨

We had so much fun the first time, we decided to do it again!!! Y’all helped us raise $2,600 for Christmas Wishes in 2022🙌 Let’s see if we can top that this year! A certain member of the sheriff’s department is out to retain his title as top earner🥇Oh and did I mention that we are also adding Richmond County to the competition this year👀 So come out and support your favorite first responder, and help WRAR’s Christmas Wishes make this a Christmas to remember ❤️🎄🎅
